Christmas Game
ON Friday 2nd December from 6pm with Sausage sizzle($1 dollar each)
will be a 40k bash with a difference.
each person needs 1HQ choice with no upgrade limitations and 1 Troop Choice again with no upgrade limitations. Must have minimum sized unit Max size is up to you
No more than 500 pts is to be spent on these 2 items. Santa will be appearing on the gaming table with some friends at some point. And no vehicles of any description or Named(Special Characters) characters
If you are able to make a second list and supply the Figures for a second unit that would be appreciated for those who do not normaly play 40k
Door fee will be $3 for every one
Please let me know if you are coming along so that you can be catered for.

Hi All

Sorry for the delay with this update. But we have had lots happening over the course of the year.

The Club is still going strong with all games being played still. Which is good news. Infinity has well and truly taken off with the club now having at least 8 armies being played on a regular basis.

Dystopian Wars is becoming a great game to play with a couple of our members having more than one fleet so come and have a look we are happy for you to join in. Photos to follow.

Recently Started some AWI historical gaming this makes you think. As a more challenging style of game play is required.

We will be having some more Ancient games, ECW to come these will be participation games so all will be welcome If you would like to try something new watch this space for dates.

Another good night at the Club with the Necrons coming out to play with the Chaos marines in 40k and in WHFB there where Lizardmen vs Empire with the empire coming out on top this time.

A few of the members where assembling and painting their Miniatures as well so another good night was had by all.

Friday Night 19/11/2010

What a fantastic evening. There was the usual gaming going on,painting and assembling figures. High lights of the Night in 40k Space marines where taking on the forces of chaos which was a close run battle.

In WHFB there was an epic game of deceit and destruction as two mighty Skaven clans locked jaws for a place on the council of 13 with Clan Pestilens winning against Clan Moulder. In true Skaven fashion Clan Skyre fought on both sides with some of the minor Clans that got caught up in the battle.

With Infinity beginning to take hold on a Monday night as well as any other game system that gets brought along. It looks like the makings of a good week.

Sunday Gaming

It is with some regret that I have to announce that we will no longer be gaming on the last Sunday of each month. This is due to a change in circumstances out of our control

We will continue to have special events held on the occasional weekend.

In WHFB: There was a classic battle of Bretonnians fighting Chaos which led to a victory for the Bretonians.

Club update

Hi all just an update for everyone.

We have now settled into our new premises with the addition of ten gaming tables and a constant update of new terrain. Means that we will be able to play on the new tables with almost any game system.

We have a good supply of 15/20mm scenery for all of you more Traditional war gamers for most periods. 28mm scenery is the back bone of the club so you are able to play all of the gaming systems with ease.

What a fun and entertaing night.

With two Spacemarine chapters trying to storm an Ork stronghold with little success we chalked that game up to the Orks with them holding on to there captured city. Which is currently being torn apart to make more Waargh Gear with the help of the Space marine equipment that was left littering the Battle field,

A game of Humans was also played which was a wonderful bit of harmless fun.

So an enjoyable night was had by all

Monday Game Night 18th October 2010

Another fun night. We cranked out a game of Humans. The zombies managed to infect plenty of em in the hospital for the win.

After that a rather interesting game of Warhammer Quest. 4 heros we down into the dungeon. And all 4 survived. While the barbarian spent most of the game going from 0 to 1 wound, back to 0 again, the Wizard didn’t take a wound the whole game!

Good news for Infinity fans! The club now sports 5 armies! Yu Jing, Pan Oceania, Combined, Aleph and Nomads. So get your Infinity on and get down to the club.
